History.

The Amt Osterholzer Verein, Inc. was founded on July 2. 1873 under its first President, Claus Puckhaber, as a social and assistence club for men.
It was incorporated on December 10, 1915 under President George Wehmann.

In later years the men's club and the women's club merged into the current organization. The current President is Ursula Suhr, and the Vice-President is Heinz Meyer.

As we look into the future, we do not wish to forget the past. Therefore, we are attempting to collect and maintain information, pictures and records of the "Olden Days", and of those who built this club.
It is fitting to honor and recognize them for their contribution to German-American life.
